DVD-Rom clicks with case on!

I have a v4 PS2 that I installed DMS3+ in, the chip is working great, have the harddrive working as well. Only problem is only works with case off. Once i put it all back together I get a clicking sound from the DVD-Rom when I try to boot a game. It also seems as though the mod stops functioning. Could it be that something is grounding out?

Make sure nothing that isn't suppose to touch the metal grounding , is touching it..
