    Default DVD RegionX backup? – 12-13-2003,07:32 PM
    I can't seem to find information on how to backup DVD RegionX. Naturally there is no point in doing that if there is no modchip installed but I have magic ice installed and I need it to play different region dvds. Can you help me? Thank you.

    I can get it to boot having written it out with Nero using DAO/96. It black screens when I put the DVD movie in.

    This is on a v7 with DVD Player 212U.

    But I can't make a DVD play. This has Messiah2 installed so if I boot in PS1 mode - it won't boot the PS2 backup version of DVDRX.

    Of course, with ARMax, it works.

    There is no DVDRX code for 50001. That's why you have to get ARMax and download the code from www.codejunkies.com.

    Action Replay doesn't require a modchip to boot a movie.

    Thank you. What type of media is Action Replay on? DVD, CD ? ???

    I thought that PS 2 would not read any disk that was not an official PS 2 disk, unless the PS 2 was modded (mine is not).
