DVD Bezel spinning off-kilter

Hey guys I just got a broken PS2 (only problem being DVD reader). Im not sure what version it is... possibly 5. Anyway I open up the DVD reader and the two rods that hold the laser have fallen off. I put them back in respective sides (one is longer than the other I believe).

I don't see anything else wrong with it physically so I put the cover back on and when I put a disc in it right when it starts spinning it will throw the disc off of the bezel and it won't read (makes a lot of noise too )

Anyway I'm not positive but i think the bezel piece got screwed up somehow (the piece that holds the disc in the middle and spins it) and is spinning off-kilter. If anyone knows if i can re-adjust it somehow please let me know. I kinda coaxed it one time and it read and booted a game just fine save the loud noise it makes from the disc rubbing on (I believe) the tray.

Any input is appreciated. I can post pics if anyone would want them.

hmmm....first off dont put a game you like int eh tray becasue ti will mess it up.

Nest ckeck to see if the whiye washer, located in the laser caseign is there. it is the washer that is above teh dis when it is spiniing and is magnetic.
