Of course it isn't. Nothing is official until an official statement has been made. Why can't people ever remember that rule of thumb? Stupid rumours are always caused by this kind of gullibility, and I'm kinda annoyed by that, as you might understand by now

anyone can use some 3d modeling software and stick a ps2 looking logo with a 3 in place of the 2 on it. hell, i still remember all the goofy playstation 2 pictures that some goobers in a basement modeled. some of 'em looked like old phillips cdi units, another i remember had 4 controller ports, a top loading drive, and an lcd screen for some strange reason.

until sony releases an official statement and some official pictures, just consider anything you see about what the ps3 might look like to be total crap.

I personally loved that one design with the ps3 about as small as a cd player..Can't remember where it's at tho, but that little thing was awesome

I dont care if the ps3 is the size of a filing cabinet, as long as it has top notch hardware in it, and isnt time we seen consoles with more than 4 contoller ports?

P.S. Now that were on the subject, I heard the nintendo "Dolphin" is supposed to come out christmas season 2004. And i also heard the ps3 could come out as late as 2006 becuase sony's teaming up with toshiba and IBM to make a chip that would computerize all home appliances (which will be implemented into the ps3) and it wont be done till 2006. Can anyone clarify a bit?
