I got my DSL connection today .....and gave XLink a go.....soon to find out that i am not reachable...
This is my setup:
i have a 256kbps DSL connection...with the Router Thomson speedtouch Home Plus 511 e router.....i have tried the method on portforward.com for the 510v4.2 version (the look is the same)....with the following forwarding configuration....
Inside IP: 10.0.0.50
Outside IP: (nothing/empty)
Inside Port: 30000
Outside Port: 30000
the my LAN connection tab, the TCP/IP settings are as follows:
IP Address: 10.0.0.50
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 10.0.0.138 (what i type in internet explorer to access my router)
Primary DNS: 184.108.40.206
Secondary DNS: 220.127.116.11
My basic system is this:
DSL Provider ---> my router ---> my PC (only 1 PC connected to internet)
plz help me guys...what am i doing wrong ??
never tried XLink Kai for ps2 but if its like with xbox should just connect your ps2 to the router and run xlink kai and select the ps2 game you want to play in the kai gamelist hame sure kai recognizes your ps2 and on your ps2 you should see the list you can connect in the system link
i am not talking about the PS2 being connectable...i am saying i am listed as 'unreachable' from the outside world....i.e. no one can connect to me for a LAN game...
there is no firewall to disable...
