Hey guys, ive recently had a Magic 3.1 chip installed, and was curious to know if anyone has had problems with watching DVDs? Now, about 15mins into a movie, it will stop the movie and tell me unable to read disc. does anyone know why this is happening?

    Cheers

Just turn the chip off by holding reset button for 3 seconds from standby to watch DVD movies....

I dont think you understand. It boots the DVD fine, but then 15 or so mins into it, the screen goes black, except for a message 'unable to read disc' in white text. Oh well, i think it could be the PS2's fault, cos the DVDs work fine in every other player in the house.

I would put the dvd-r back into the pc and verify your backup. You may have to try better media or slower burn. I had a problem with a few backups and found out the original would not read properly and was wornout or scratched. I found this out nero would burn but primo dvd2 said read error. Then i played the original from the save point and same thing happened disc read error.
