Do every USB keyboard works with PS2?

I wondering if normal USB keyboards (for PCs) will work with PS2 (for linux, for example, and games that might want to use keyboard).

should do, the keyboards with the extras on them like screens and macro keys.... the extras wont work but a basic USB KB should. i used a HP and a DELL KB with uLE....

Every basic KB I have used worked just fine on the PS2

Ditto on the USB keyboads. Also have had excellent results with a usb-ps/2 adapter, and using the ps/2 keyboard & mouse...

The only weird thing was if you didn't plug in a ps/2 style mouse then the keyboard would sometimes be erratic and produce extra keystrokes, but that just might have been my el cheapo adapter.

(and by ps/2 I mean the old ibm ps/2 like here: PS/2 connector - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )
