    Yes. Hold reset when booting until you see the Sony screen with all the boxes.

    Then again they could just be stupid.

    I heard it was becuase of older PS2's. I remember seeing it on Sonys forum

    I cant belive booting a backup then turning off the chip is going to work wouldnt swapping work if this was the case? Also doesnt magic 3 turn off after booting because of there overheating issues?
