Dhcp

Hi!
I'm new in this forum and I hope I chose the right one!
I have this problem:
my PC and my PS2 both connect to a router which is not configurable by me.
I cannot choose my own IP address but I have to receive it by the DHCP server.
So, I'd like to know if it's possible to have the hdl_dump server to use an IP given by it and not statically configured.
How can I do this?

if you can see the dhcp range assigned to you, you should be able to pick any ip address and use it as a static address.
