I picked up a pair of wireless controllers for my ps2 at argos (UK)for £2.99 (Originally £19.99) link click here. Not a bad deal I think. They are made by QuickShot and run on 4 AAA batteries.

They are not the offical sony ps2 controllers but they work pretty good. Also the D-Pad is like the old sega mega drive controllers and not built in under the plastic like the sony ones, comes in handy for certain games when you need more manourverability so thats a good feature in my book!

You can also get product replacement cover for £3.99 if you wish which covers them for 5 years (I forgot it states 3 years, but I sweet talked the lady into 5 year cover for the same price) so if they go bust you can get them replaced or refunded. If refunded your only £1 out of pocket so I think its worth it in my opinion. I had a £5 voucher to use anyway so it wasn't a deal I could pass up on.

Also the 7day shop is having a sale on Eneloop rechargeable batteries (which in my opinion are the very best brand you can get, they last ages) which are the newer generation and last longer than the old ones. Theres info on these batteries in reviews on amazon and the hotukdeals website if you want to read up on them and see if its worth it.

Edit: Note: Il try and upload a picture cos the one they show is slightly different.

Photos in attachments. I pulled down one of the analogs so you can see it closesly, it doesn't quite cover the whole area as you can see, thats the only bad thing about it.

But its very nice to play with new buttons!

Not bad! I just checked and they have them locally.. Here!

Only €3.99, gotta be done! Might get a PS2 to USB adapter and see if that turbo button does anything for MW2.. :P

Do you really class this as advertising? Honestly

I am in no way making a personal gain from this, the purpose of the post is to allow users who might not be aware of the deal who have old/busted controllers and fancy a bargain to replace them for a good price or for people who are looking for a reasonable price on wireless controllers.

If I was to post a deal, say on a 100 bundle of brand new slimline ps2's for sale online for £5 so people of this community could get them, would you really bash my post for advertising or would the first thing that you do would be to follow the link and buy as many as you can??? I wonder

Just bought exactly the same thing used from Gamestation today for 49p. I haven't had chance to play with them yet and the quality is far from the best i've seen but does have turbo and macro and the D-Pad kinda feels like the 360's floating type which will be good for some games, but everyone knows it's like poking at a big turd when you play fighting games with it.
