Creating PSX memory card backup using PS2
Hi guys. First of all, I'd like to say that it's amazing that the PS2 scene is still alive! Well done do ffxgreiver, dlanor, and countless others who I am very sorry I have forgotten for their awesome and continual effort and expertise in this area. With that out of the way, I'd like to ask a fairly specific question:
I have an old PSX memory card, and a fat PS2 with a hard disk which is running Free McBoot. I have started playing some of my old favourite PSX games on the PC with an emulator and I would like to know how to dump my PSX memory card using my PS2. Previously I had backed up my PSX saves by simply copying the saves from the PSX memory card onto a USB stick, however this simply gives me files called
These files don't seem to work with ePSXe (the PSX emulator I'm using).
I've read that the PSX card needs to be dumped to a .bin file. Please keep in mind that I don't actually have a memory card > usb adaptor, only memory cards, an exploited PS2 and some USB sticks.
Any and all help is appreciated!
