Copying saved games from computer to PS2
Copying saved games from computer to PS2 –

Hi, I have my PS2 set up with HDloader and I am able to connect to my PS2 with flashFXP where I can access my Memory Card. I was just wondering if anyone knew if I am able to send a saved game some how to the memory card? I was interested in getting a saved game for Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (NTSC USA version) because I only have 2 characters available. I wanted to get my hands on a saved game with everything unlocked. If anyone knows how to do this and knows of how I can obtain these saved games, let me know. Thank you!

Not sure if this will be helpful but, I'll try since I actuallly don't have my ps2 with me right now and have not done this in a while.
I'm assuming you have the save file already from whichever site(gamefaqs.com usually has good saves), but it will usually come in different formats like Ar Max, CodeBreaker, nPort, XPort or Sharkport.
What you need to do is convert them into a file that the memory card actually reads. You can get a tool from http://www.ps2savetools.com/
Not sure if I'm allowed to put that address there...
Go and download a program called "PS2 Save Builder". Using that, extract the file and put it in your memory card. One thing you have to make sure is that it is the folders name is correct. Folders name are usually something like BASLUS-##### but it does differ from game to game. What I usually do is I just move the files and overwrite into my old saves to make sure that it is the same name.
Hope that helps.
And BTW I think this is sappose to be in the PS2 Memory Card Hacking section...
