Are you talking about allowing these games to run on your PS2? Or about converting the NTSC video mode to PAL?

    First case:
    - rip the games and use OPL
    or
    - rip the games, patch the image files with ESR, burn the patched image files and play from the discs
    or
    - install a modchip and play the original game discs (requires some soldering skills)

    Second case:
    - use GSM to enforce PAL: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/gs-m...eedback-61808/
    or
    - use the Xploder HDTV Player (similar to GSM, but no freeware)
    or
    - use a NTSC to PAL patcher

    ps2_ntsc2pal_yfix.exe
    and
    ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix.exe

both contained in the rar file attachment.
Load the one you want PAL or NTSC
    Select your ISO
    Click on PATCH FILE button
MOVE the restore/backup file it tells you about to a safe place (just in case)
Mount it on PS2 HDD and run

At moment I can play ANY region PS2 games on my UK model PS2. This simple hertz patcher works great
Or yeah, If you tick the []"Make PN Selector" box, you will get the choice to pick what hertz rate you require
I playing some jap only games on my PS2 at moment with no problems No Chips/mods! Just FreeMCBoot and HD Advance 2.1

    Hope this helps you out
    ZX81v2 - Retro?

Edit : Some games do multiple hertz changes (Capcom Arcade Game collections etc..) So the main menu works in altered Hertz set but when you load a game from the menu it swaps back to the original 60hz/NTSC as each game has it set into it's loader !

You were already given some replies that might have solved your problem.

Though I don't know exactly which games are involved here (and don't care to hear about any piracy excuses),
generally speaking the easiest way to enforce PAL for any NTSC game is to use the GSM utility.
(== GS Modeselector) It doesn't work for 100% of all games, but it does work for the majority.

A major advantage of GSM is that you don't have to modify any ISOs or reburn any discs.
You just have to start GSM and choose what mode to enforce before running the game.
And that is also the major disadvantage of this method, as you need to do this each time.

The other method of solving your problem involves ripping, patching and burning the game ISOs,
so as to make new game discs that are adapted to running in PAL, as described by ZX81v2.

    Best regards: dlanor

In matrix chip select COLOR option to modifie the colour carrier without change screen format.
It is the best way to "convert".

Others chips have that option too.

If not, you can do a micro soldering in mo-bo to do the same by hardware(i can tell you how if you have the skills).

Forcing ntsc to pal or pal to ntsc is never good.
