I've been looking on this site for a while and I'm confused with one thing:

Can the slim PS2 play any emulators without the use of mods or anything else?

I really want to stay away from opening up my PS2.

nope, PSTWO can NOT play emulators without the use of a mod of any kind.

u will need swap magic, modchip or sum other cool nifty thingie.

BTW, a PSTWO (slimline) cannot be exploited like the fat PS2.

Dangwoot-not calling you a lier.. well ya I guess I am if your talking about the slim.. Pgen will not work with an unmoded slim line... Even if you where to use the evo... you still need to have a chip or other in order to use emu's or any kind of homebru app...

Besides I didnt even think codebreaker, gameshark or evo would work on the slim line.. Does still hold true today?..
