I just got a component video cable for my PS2 which has a DMS3v9 in it. When I play games w/ the component cable, it has about a 1" black border on the left and right sides of the screen and maybe a 1/2" border on the top and bottom of my 20" LCD TV. DVD's play in full screen as well as playing w/ the stock RCA composite cable. It only happens when playing games, either w/ copies or if it's in stealth mode w/ original games. It is consistent in all the games and these are all NTSC. I don't have another TV w/ component inputs so I can't test it on another one. Has anyone else had a problem like this w/ component cables or with the DMS3v9?
