Apple 2 Pro

Magic V

Hk Messiah

i would say the latin and the magic V.

N id go for a MATRIX MXL2 mate, installed loads, never had a problem with um!

Well...

Apple Pro's are the cheapest of the lot - only 22 wires and rock solid little performers else I would not stock them.

The DUOs are only slightly more expensive also rock solid and only 17 wires.

I would go either of these over the Magic as the MagicV has gone the way of the messiah and no longer has an onboard crystal.

Latin and matrix are more expensive but I can't comment on reliability as I have never installed - and the HK messiah is just a cheap clone of a cheap chip...

I only have tested some Magic V, and wow, In this post there is another person who has Magic V that doesnt work. Me two, two of them never work.

Dont choose Magic V.

Choose Matrix MXL2, Messiah2 or DMS3. Yes, they are more expensive than the ones you have said, but they are factory tested and Ive never got a failure with those.

get the duo, magic chips i was never a fan of. i did notice the duo is pickey on what type of media it takes
