I got a cheapo PS2 component cable for my PAL PS2 because I couldn't find an original one. I have set "Component Out" to "Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr" in the configuration menu. I can get a display on all my games and homebrew apps(uLE,SMS etc). I can even see the Free MCBoot splash screen (my TV says the signal is 576i). But after that,when it is supposed to display the main menu (the one with browser,version info,configuration etc), my TV goes blank.

Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
