Can you sell a modded ps2 on ebay?

I have one for sale here but no takers... what's ebay's policy on modded systems?

ebay's policy forbids it, but people have sold them on ebay. However your account may be suspended, so use at your own risk.

just say its region free that way ebay will let you put it on the site and people that see it will know its a modchip

So if i say region free with a matrix infinity, ebay won't ban my account?

thats no guarentee

if ebay's automatic system believes you are selling somthing illegal, it wont be listed and somone at ebay will check it out - if its clear they will list it, if not - well i dunno exactly

saying its region free doesnt mean you will get away with it, u might get thru, i dunno

maybe u should make a new account for it or somthing, use a freinds card or paypal account

i've seen some on ebay it is all abou how you word it, and if you do mention mod chip than more likely they will remove and suspend your account, there are no guarantees. i have sold a modded xbox on ebay in the past with no troubles

you can list it there, but it's very possible that eBay will take it down before the auction ends. Solution: set a Buy it Now price and make the auction only a few days.

but it's not illegal...just the fact that you have a modded playstation2 doesn't make it illegal...lots of people have modded systems so they can play imports..

playing copied games with a modchip is illegal..
