can someone convert a ps2 .max to psv; pls

i recently format my ps3 drive, and now all mine ps2 saves are gone, i had made backups of the ps3 saves but not the ps2, damn so can someone pls convert this ps2 savegame from .max to .psv Thx

This programm is older than PSV-Format&PS3-Console.
It doesn't support, what the OP is/was asking for.

BUMP, i alsow have a psu file, maybe a psu to psv ? i reaaly don't have any cleu how to do this, google ain't that much off a help

i hope a person with a modded ps2 can do this, but i don't have a ps2, so pls i helped some ppl in here in the ps3 section, thx for your comments,

There are two methods...

There is a programm which can convert from PSU to PSV, if I remember correctly... But I forgot the name,...

The other way would be,... Somone with a backward-compatible PS3 could do it, too.

Btw.: There was a thread specially for this stuff,... I'd like to attach this thread to the other one, but I couldn't find it as of yet...

PSV files are signed and AFAIK only the PS3 can create them currently. It's possible to add the functionality to a PC application given that the algorithm/keys have been revealed but as far as I'm aware nobody has released such an app yet.

Indeed, this was the method which I used.

Please find the converted save attached to this post. I haven't tested it because I don't have the game in question but I've used this method successfully many times before.

so if i want to convert a psu to psv savegame, what do i need for this to wotk with a BC ps3, i live in belgium so somethings aren't available in belgium and i don't order anything thru the web, don't thrust the system :-), or is there a app that runs on a ps3 cfw 3.55 kmeaw that would convert a max or psu to psv, ive got all strange ideas

@Yuki: Oooops you're right, but if I recall correctly there is a programm, which atleast can extract PSV-Files.
