@l_oliveira: The RCA is only used to determine the laser-power for the burning-process a.k.a 'Laser Power Calibration'. That's why this are is not present on pressed discs (atleast to my knowledge)
@Player1: The speed entirely depends on the hardware/dvd-writer and discs used!
@all: As always,... Burned discs put more strain on the laser than pressed discs.
This applies even more to double/dual-layer-discs...
But yes,... Normally, a PS2 can read DLs... (if it can read them properly, or if it can read burned DLs is an other question).
