    Long post is this, sorry

I have a V10 fitted with a Matrix Infinity Flashed to V1.2 and it works a treat. So I took the plunge and installed a Network Adaptor with 40gig HD and experimented with HD Loader. That too worked (as well as HDLoader with an Infinity will..) As a complete newbie I became very brave and installed a few apps (PS2Menu, PS2link, Pgen & DMS HDD format) to my memory card using the Infinity browser. That worked perfectly, until I ran out of space on the MC.

I decided to delete everything on the MC with the PS2 browser and start again. I installed the apps - problem! Although all the apps appear in Infinity's browser, only PGen will load, the rest of the time it goes back to the PS2 browser.

I've tried installing to a brand new MC, again with no success.

The strange thing is that I cannot even boot these apps from a CD like I did before.

The only thing I can think of is that between installing the apps and deleting them from the MC, I connected up the network adaptor and signed into Sony's Central Station online service, just out of curiosity. Could this have reconfigured the network adaptor?

As you can see, I have no idea. Can anybody help?

    thanks in advance

Alright, stupidity on my part. Won't boot from CD if SYSTEM.CNF isn't on there will it!

Now to get the booting from MC bit sorted. I'll get there, after all this is only my first week of messing around with this stuff.

BTW thank you all at scene.org, I've learned a lot browsing this forum
