Can anyone help

Recently my ps2 stop reading all kinds of disc (ps1,ps2,dvd etc). i gave it to a friend who repairs ps2's and it has come back worse than when i started. The controller & memory card connecter on the main board is broken so it can't be reconnected and the laser has been totally disconnected. Can any one help me put this back together or is there anyone in the london Eng area who could do this???

If the connector on the motherboard is broken, chances are you need a new motherboard. You may be able to find someone who is brave enough to try and attach a new one or modify it by soldering indivdual wires to reconnect it. Sounds like this guy messed up your ps2 pretty bad. If he is really your friend, I think he should help you pay to get it fixed the right way.
