be nice law he is a newbie. the best software is any that works like dvd decrypter, nero, stomp and record max just to name a few.

Recordnow Max is the best in my opinion, but DVDDecrypter is also cool, and it is free. Nero has a tons of bugs, so in some cases it can produce strange things, but can be used though. Roxio pruducts are just wasted time.

alcohol 120 percent is good.

I second Alcohol 120%. It can fast read over errors on discs and does bit for bit copy.
