Burn FMCB on a DVD ? –
02-03-2010,10:13 PM
As the title mentions ,I like to burn FMCB iso to a dvd ,cause I come across a lot of PS2's with either a worn CD laser or a bad modchip that doesnt reads CDs as it supposed to do
I have already burnt the iso (FMCB) to a DVD with no modification ,and failed to boot it up
So any Ideas ?

This has been discussed countless times. if you can boot a burned FMCB C/DVD up with no modifications, why in the hell do you need FMCB since the system can already boot burned discs?
if you already have FMCB installed on a memory card, you can use that to assist in installing it on other memory cards easier than you can try to figure out this hopeless method.

so this means you are using the site to advertise your own FMCB install services. this is looking really bad for you since there are perquisites in place to protect both installers and consumers of the service. I'm going to open this thread up long enough for you to respond.

So why do installs if you don't even use the hardware? How are you supposed to understand what you're installing and answer questions if you don't even know what you're installing? What if I came to you to do a free install (which is what we do here) and had a shitload of noob questions about the programs you installed, including what I need to do to boot it up, what I need to do if I want to watch a movie? What if I want to play a game via HDD? How would you know what you've put in if you don't really know how to use them?

Sounds like you got me wromg brother
,I'm just an employee at a rapair shop ,I use FMCB to do a lot of things at work (running ELFs like lens changer) ,and without it I really have to go for an alternative way to get the consoles repaired ,so I'm not charging for installing FMCB but for the console repair only.
Here in Morocco ,the only city that has similar shops of video game porposes is Casablanca (where I'm currently living and studying) .therefor people that live far away cannot leave thier consoles If i were not ready to fix it right away.
I barely now that FMCB is a freeware ,and charging for it is a violation of the software terms of use,so i usually install it for free to everyone who needs it,
I mentioned on my message to you that I charge people a fee for doing so ,but you got me wrong ,about 99.8% of console users here don't even know what is a homebrew application and/or how to use it ,so I install FMCB just for my friends ,I have never got a request from someone to install FMCB for him ,if it happens and i get a demand ,i will install it for free .
thanx

Oh guys whats the problem
I'M NOT CHARGING A FEE FOR THE INSTALLATION NOR HAVE EVER REQUESTED A DEMAND FOR DOING SO
IF ANYBODY WANTS TO INSTALL IT ,I'M READY
and i know all its features ,people here don't know how to download and burn/patch games to run them using ESR ,alternatively i install a modchip for them and give them the games they like for a reasonable price ,they dont even know a word in english ,so how come they use FMCB to watch movies and ...

I have you pegged right. you are using this site for installs. Nor do I want people out of the blue advertising their services for it on the premise that there are rules about how to do it. And also, you said it a few posts above that you do charge for some installs. definately against the rules. don't come back here.
