This thread caught me off guard.
Personally, I shy away from doing repairs on random consoles. No offense, but I prefer to stay anonymous locally for a number of reasons. It's nothing against you at all. As for repair shops locally, there is Game Krazy down in Radcliff, Kentucky. (yes, I know it sounds a bit like Game Crazy, but they are totally different.) I've bought parts from them before on a couple systems, and I know for fact they do repair work.
they are located in Redmar Plaza shopping center on the corner of Knox blvd and Wilson Rd. just outside the Fort Knox gate. They are on the wilson rd. side of the shopping center.
One would also think that a PM would be a good idea on such quistions..
