Arrrrrrr, ye could use a flippy lid, or ya could stab yer ps2 usin' yon knife swap. Neither will work fer ya very well.
WTF are you saying?
Lmao...but hey, you can use the this new "Slide Card" thingy. It uses Magic Boot CD's (one for DVD type games and one for CD games). You put it in, it then says "Insert Disk"--at that point, you use this little slide card that comes with it, basically makes the CD tray eject manually. Anyway, you take out the Boot Disk and then put in your back-up game...push the tray in, use the slide card again to lock the CD tray...and boom...your done. Oh yea, hit the X button and it should work. I've been using it, works great. Max Payne II and that new Resident Evil Outbreak..the Japanese joint.
In order for the slide card to fit though, you do have to remove the cd tray face-plate. It's easy to do--only one screw to remove, but the sides of the cd tray, where the face plate is cliped on to are so damn sensitive...it dont make no sense. So be careful not to break the side of the cd tray, otherwise your face plate will not clip back on. Also, make sure you put that screw back in, after you take the face plate off....aight, im out..holla!
i use a fliptop cover. basically, its a replacement cover for your ps2 that opens up like a psone. (easier for sapping as far as taking stuff in and out)
Then I just load my GS2v2 (just like Swap Magic Discs) and swap and play. Its that simple. I can also use the ClogSwapLoader. (a homebrew app)
The only place you get into trouble is playing backups of large TOC games. The largest game I have is Vice City. In order to boot a DVD backup, you first have to allow the ps2 to read a game with a greater than or equal to TOC of the backup you are playing.
So I put in my Vice City, then I swap it out for something like...Tony Hawk Underground. I doubt I would be able to play a backup of Vice City as I do not have anything larger....
did you get all that?![]()
