Boot hdl iso using hdl retail.

i read somewhere that u can boot a hdl0.8b iso from hdl retail...does it work?
I got the sks .8b iso and moved it to my hdd using winhiip. Then started using hdl retail and chose the iso but got a black screen...nothing. Tried mode 3 also nothing. Any ideas?

why dont u spend all of 10 cents on a blank cd-r and burn it...

no modchip so can't boot even aftert burn...anyone wanna sell me a ps1 original disk cheap or gimme?...i can't seem to find it locally. Even a demo disk works right? I'm in SF.
