I just bought a btach of the obove chipas seen here

I've tried this chip on a PAL Version 5 and also a Version 4 Gap.

I'm a very experienced installer , but this baby is depressing me.

On both installs , the chip appears to boot , you hear that nice little noise on boot whcich generally tells you you have a sucessfull boot. The disc is spinning fine , but no PS2 logo appears and it hangs on a blcak screen , whilst the disc is spinning at what i would call a normal speed.

Has anyone any experince with thios mod who can point me in the direction of what I am doing wrong .

All connections are fine , i've used a thick wire for both grounds and power. No brigdes etc.
