I copied several DVD games 1:1 with nero all work fine i am using a dms3 v2.0 (1.6b).. so for 1:1 copies nero is just fine for rip's, get yourself a ripkit for the especific game :P

I'd say if you want to do the 1.1 thing, and dont want to do "on the fly", rip the image to an ISO, mount it with Daemon Tools, and then do a 1.1 copy. This worked for me when I didn't want to worry about file-read-errors and whatever.

1 quick question on this topic though...is it possible for me to take an alcohol 120 image, mount to daemon tools or whatever, and rip the image to iso? whatever i burn MUST be in iso format as my macintosh has the burner and iso is basically the only popular, pc based burning format that Roxio Toast (best avail for mac) will burn

I don't know about PS2 games, but Blindwrite Suite rips 1:1 PC games even with copy protection easily and perfectly every single time. I don't have a DVD Burner to test out PS2 games or a modchip, But I think it's a good bet that it would work.
