    ill have to ask again which is the best app to rip or copy a ps2 game thanx inadvance

    Almost everybody will recommend RecordNow Max, Alcohol 120%, or DVD Decrypter.

    Probably CD/DVDGen and Atlantis Toolkit.

    It depends on the game though, it's not really just as simple as ripping it to your Hard Drive. I'd advise that you just get a ripkit for that individual title, and then burn it back to a CD with CDRWin. That what most people do.

    thanx guys all i am trieing to do is find which is best to rip or 1.1
    i have just tried a 1.1 with nero the game is gta3 it came up with
    an error message but still burnt

    it was original gta3 and dvd decrypter sounds good ,do any ps2 games need patching to play or before you burn?

    No patching is necessary unless you need to convert pal to ntsc or vice versa.
