What's the best mod chip to get for playing your backups?

There are many great ones.
Crystal Chip, DMS4, Matrix Infinity, DUO 3, Magic ect ect.

Ide go with Matrix Infinity ModChip (Green Dot Version).

I do not reccommend a solderless chip as they have many problems.

Find some place that will install the chip for ya unless you know how to install it yourself.
Remember to look up whats your PS2 version number so that the modchip you choose may be compatible with the console.

I have the Matrix Infinity. It does everything its supposed to with no problems whatsoever and new firmware is still released by Team Infinity.

maybe i should have gotten this matrix infinity chip. i am having trouble installing the chrystal chip 2 pro.
