Best media?

Hi, what is the best media for game backups of your ps2-games?
DVD-R is the way to go, PS2 can't handle DVD+R?
Any special brand that is better than the other ones?

personnaly I prefer to use verbatim DVD-R, used traxdata befor and got several coasters from them.

Ritek G04/G05 (works for me) (Dark Purple Dye) and Taiyo Yuden

I'm using Platinum DVD-R (Media Code: Ritek G05), they work fine.

Ritek G04 -R media works great - damn +R is SHITE on my machine...

Lately Verbatim 2x/4x +r and Memorex 4x +r

never had a problem with em on a Pal 3900X and a Pal 50004
