Begginer questions

Hello all

Yesterday I bought a PS2 fat console ,model no 30004,PAL.

I dont know is it chipped(modded,however),and I have few questions.

People talking how they can mod their ps and play games with ther usb drive,when i put my usb drive in my ps2,it wont read it.

Please help me,my console only reads my audio cds,cant read dvd movies...

How I can play games with my usb drive?

First you will need a Memory Card with this installed

Then you can use this to Play games from internal HD USB HD or SMB over crossover cables or router of PC with this

But how I can install that thing on my memory card,am I need to connect it with PC and how?

And why when I enter cd into ps2 ,i have message on tv "Please insert ps or ps2 format disc".He cant read dvds,why i dont know.
Please help me,i want to enjoy in magic of ps too.

Are you try a DVD-retail-game or a backup or is it just a movie-dvd???

Have you retail-games?
Have you Swap-Magic-DVD?
Have you DEMO-DVD?

No need to connect it with PC at install.
