After realizing that i couldnt play madden 2004 online i gave up because of the dnas code. The next day i tried to play a friend at my house and the game would not boot up at all. In fact none of my backup disc would work. is it because of the fact that my network adapter is still hooked up or the bios in my ps2 has automatically reset itself???

I went home last night and actually unhooked the wires that setup for getting online. somehow it would not allow the games to play.
how many times did you fail the dnas check? i have failed ot on tiger woods pga tour 2004 twice by accident but my machines fine. does it read originals?
the dnas has nothing to do with not allowing you to play now. you probally need a laser cleaning a wire came loose or your laser is on its last legs.
I concur with the above, DNAS just re-authenticates the disc wiping the modchip injected data out of the RAM temporarily (Something like that) and then freezes the game if it fails to authenticate, but it doesn't affect the modchip. I've had DNAS happened to me once and nothing is wrong with that ps2.
