All region network adapter

I thought that network adapters would only work with the region they were made for but this one at divineo says "It is compatible with all Playstation2 worldwide" at the bottom of the page http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/ps2-networka can this be right. also they sall a just usa one that costs more http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/ps2-netusa

i also enquired about this - the one that costs more is new - the cheaper one is refurbished. I've bought one from them and it works 100% in my pal.

i dont think so because your machine id is still region encoded

im pretty sure that network adapters are not region coded.
