    I need to replace the fan on my v3 (its the fan not the fuse) can I use a fan from a v5 or v7?

    you can use a v1-7 fan.. they run off 5 volts.. Do not use a fan from a v9 or v10 they run on 3 volts and it will kill the fan if you hook it up to 5 volts.

    Uhm, I thought they were 7V? V1-7 fans...

    v9 are 7V / 0.24A ... i got one sitting right infront of me

    Yeah, don't know what netmech is talking about. You can apply 5v to the fan and it will still spin, but not at full speed.
