Hi I've to adjust the pots for my V5/6 console. I was told that 950 Ohms is the correct value for the DVD pot and 1100 is the correct value for the CD. Between which two physical points do you measure this resistance??

    Cheers,
    Mickey.

thanks nemtech for your help only there's one problem ... it's not an R type laser used in the v5/6's yours looks like a 400C... and those two points don't seem to exist on my laser... i'll try to get you a picture tonight with my cheap cell phone camera

and using the points that are located in the same general area i can't seem to get a reading it always finds its way to 0... i'm not a newb but right now i'm fried, can someone walk me through this... should the console be on or off... should it even be connected? like really simple question i can't even begin to answer....

... here's the picture as promised...
