    Ok, i have a second hand action replay max for my ps2 and a slim ps2, when start action replay it says that an internet connection was found and did i want do check for updates, my question is can i just connect my phone line to the ps2 and download the updates or do i need to do something else?

    no, you can't, you need a networkadapter connected to you ps2, and need to be connected to the internet, then ar max will download all the latest updates.

    No i dont, i have a Slim ps2, it has a built in one, but it's ok cos i already got my question answered in a different forum and i can, so i did and it worked!
