50004/DMS3v9 not reading dvd-r and -rw

Hi , cannot get console to read dvd-r(it works fine on my39004)
or dvd-rw. But it reads sone 2 dvd video (orginal) is it then a bad media/laser issue or can it be innstallation probs?
if i hold reset for 3-4 seconds before trying to read severe clicking sounds?

hi, disassembled the whole machine nothing wrong found.
tested without top cover-booted like a breeze. Mounted top-not working anymore. to off top again works now.
mounted top one by one screw with tests in between but when no more screws it still works fine?
I am 100% sure that no wires are in between or in possible contact with anything inside

mak sure yoru wires are laid flatly against the board

Hi Loy , will there be a issue regarding this clockpoint on v9?
Never had prob with v7/DMS3 (over 50 installs).
Is it good to use a thin shielded signal cable?
Btw i have a v7 with corrupted orginal bios chips(weird sound when swirling and missing lines in image) i hawe one dead motherboard will it be possible to transplant the bios chip from dead board? Done this?

Yes it is if the bioses are of same brand and modell
