400A laser

first of all, let me just say i really wish they would resurrect the jap/asian forums. anyway, onto the question

Would it be possible for me to get a new 400A laser. just got a 10000 and it just stopped reading dvds. all the places i see dont have 400A, only 400B, C, and R. If i cant find a 400A laser, would a 400C work in this model, since im pretty sure 400C is alot better than A and B. Thanks

I think you have to get the 400B and modify it so it fits. anyone else got a say

c will work. a modified b will work

C will work perfect on 10000, 15000, and 18000. I 100% sure because I got those 3 old model ps2 with 400C.
