Which 3rd person shooters will you get?
Which 3rd person shooters will you get? –
There?s a bunch of really good ones coming out (or at least they LOOK like really good ones so far) so which ones do you think will be worth getting?
Red Dead Revolver
S.W.A.T. Global Strike Team
DX: Invisible War
Metal Gear Solid 3
Mission Impossible: Operation Surma
Conflict: Desert Sabre
No ideas on this? (or maybe nobody's really talking about games right now on this board...) When you look at how far things have come just in the last couple of decades, it's not far from possible that games could be complete interactive movie-like experiences well within the next couple of decades. If you look at little advances they're already making, it's pretty exciting. Kill Switch is a good example of these little advances - the A.I. is going to be significantly better than what you typically see and offensive cover fire / blind firing will be introduced into the 3PS genre (this is all based on what they've described so far --->http://www.killswitch.com/). Games like Resident Evil Zero are practically life-like in their appearance already (if you can excuse the way the characters move like drunk cows on rollerskates). PC games are impressive too - like the complete interactivity between character and environment in Battlefield 1942 and Mafia... games like these are immense in their scope and lifelike in their appearance. Just imagine what things will be like for the next generations of gamers! (Incentive to live a loooong time...)
BTW,... I saw someone say that they couldn't decide between MGS3 and Twin Snakes ~ but I thought those were one and the same game. There's two? What's the difference between them?
One last thing before I give up on this ghost town of a forum...
I just found out that Red Dead Revolver has been cancelled. >
However, Kill Switch is still on schedule to come out in October of this year (fingers crossed).
I think i'll get all of them .
