now when i open my PS2 FREEMCBOOT LOAD AND OPL8 AUTOSTART AND IT SHOW ME THE GAMES LIST SO AS YOU KNOW I GO TO THE GAME AND PRESS X
AND I BEGIN THE GAME
SO AS YOU LIKE BUT IF POSSIBLE FREEMCBOOT THEN GMS TO CHOOSE 60 HZ ..NTSC... THEN OPL YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU PRESS X ON GAME IT BEGINS AND YOU CAN NOT CHANGE TO NTSC..
I REMEMBER YOU THAT LIST APPLS ON OPL IS EMPTY
THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY FRIEND..
Hey, I configured it this way now...
Once you start your PS2 and the FMCB-Logo is shown, you can press&hold the DPad-Left-Button to start GSM.
I also linked GSM into the hacked OSDSYS.
Should it start into the hacked OSDSYS, where you can simply choose the application you want?
...or should it auto-start OPL after the FMCB-Logo?
If it should auto-start GSM, it will ever autostart GSM on startup/poweron/reset/softreset...
For example,... I thought it is good if it is configured this way:
-Autostart either OPL, or the 'hacked OSDSYS'.
-If you want OPL to autostart you need to press DPad-Left, while the FMCB-Logo is shown. If you choose the 'hacked OSDSYS' as autostart, you can start all your apps through it (for example first GSM, then choose V-Mode in GSM, then jump back to PS2-Browser and start OPL out of the hacked OSDSYS).
I attached a Nooby-Installpackage, which set's OSDSYS (hacked PS2-Menu) as auto-start.
GSM is on Left-Button and in the hacked OSDSYS, so you have the choice how to start GSM.
OPL is in the OSDSYS, but you can set it to auto-launch...
Edit: I can't make it that way: --> FMCB starts GSM --> Starts OPL
because of two reasons:
a. the new GSM doesn't support saving/config, afaik.
b. even if it had support for a config, I still can't copy the config directly to MC with the FMCB-Installer.
nice to meet you i will re-install freemcboot and i tell you later the result
thank you
Just keep in mind, that it is better to install (it) to a fresh MC.
But if you have the normal Nooby-Package installed previously, there shouldn't be any problems...
when i launch GSM IT opens SMS 2.9 And i tried it with mp3 and it work good but freemcboot didn t autostart only manually from browse
Oooops,... I'm very sorry. I forgott the ELF-Paths.
I edited the FREEMCB.CNF and attached it here.
Just put this new FREEMCB.CNF either into the 'FMCB_CFG'-Folder of the install-package and re-install it again, or simply copy the CNF into the 'SYS-CONF'-Folder on your FMCB-MC.
Once you replaced the CNF, FMCB will start GSM instead of SMS.
So,... You want to have an app on auto-start?
Remember,... If you want to reach the hacked OSDSYS again, you need to hold a button on startup!
In the attached *.zip are two FMCB-Configs.
FREEMCB.CNF is the edited to match the correct path, thus GSM will start instead of SMS. The behaviour is like your current install then...
FREEMCB2.CNF is like FREEMCB.CNF, but includes auto-starting OPL.
If you want to use this CNF, you must rename it to 'FREEMCB.CNF'.
Also you need to press and hold a button, to stop OPL from autostarting and to reach another application or the OSDSYS.
Press and hold 'LEFT' on your controller, to start GSM if you want to use the second CNF.
THANK YOU I HAD 2 SMS 2.9 I WILL TRY AGAIN..
TELL YOU LATER
thanks for your great help i re-installed FREEMCBOOT with the second CNF it autostarts with OPL and i tried with GSM all are great i changed it to NTSC and the boot to browse OPL will be opened and the pas games that i had black and white before was now on color ... but the problem now if it is possible to save that configuration on MC... i mean can i save GMS configuration on MC ... because i have to launch GMS each time i on my PS2 console..the configuration turned on default .. pal....
Yes, those older versions just before the 0.36-version still support it.
But I think it will be supported in future-versions as well again.![]()
