@SP193 - In my USB i need to leave OPL.ELF because cant Start OPL without this File on USB.
You don't need a modchip to play games from DVD. Patch the ISO with ESR disc patcher, then burn with imgBurn. Load the game with ESR.
OPL should be in the BOOT folder on the memory card. It should show up in the PS2 menu.
Ahaaaaa Ahaaa with ESR i can launch any CD or DVD Games..Just need to Patch.
And i like to play from USB Games, can you try to show me how to Play from USB Games.
I have PES2013.ISO and i need to know what i need to do ? What i need to use for Install Game on USB, i dont like use DVD for Games :/
I've not got PES2013. Don't know if it works on OPL.
If its over 4GB you need to split it with USBExtreme. You will need a virtual drive on your PC. Mount the ISO image in the virtual drive. Rip the game with USBExtreme, from the virtual drive to your USB drive. You will end up with some files in the root of the USB, these are the game. Plug the USB into your PS2, then load with OPL. If it won't load, try selectining different modes in OPL.
EDIT: I noticed in your second post that you have already ripped it with USBExtreme. These files are the game.
They must be in the root of the USB drive.
If you want to play it from the ISO, you will have to rename it like this.
Then make a folder on your USB drive called DVD. Put the renamed ISO in the DVD folder.
PES 2013 where i downloaded has 1.56 GB
My USB is 2GB !
Man USB Extreme need only if i like to grab any game from CD/DVD, if i need to use USBExtreme i need to insert any DVD in DVD-ROOM!
Hmmm for Riped i dont use USBExtreme, For result done i user USBUntil and showed File ul.54174 etc..
Yeah i already Ripted my Game with USBUntil, and then i transfer File of the Games on my USB 2GB FAT32.
Then i Open OPL and showed Game in the List PES2013, when i press "X" dont show anything,,,just stay TV LCD on Black Screen :/
PS. can i download and play with the games that are in the format NTSC or Only PAL ?
When you see the game in OPL, don't press X, press the triangle, game settings. Go through each of the 8 different modes, 1 at a time.
Mode 1 on, then test, until you find one that works. then reset the game, reload it, select the mode that worked, then save it. If none of the modes work, it could be:
Its not compatible with OPL.
OPL don't like your USB drive.
Bad ISO file.
Bad Free McBoot install.
The files could be fragmented.
Yes you can play NTSC games but they might be black & white, & cropped on a PAL TV, it depends on your TV. Can your TV handle an NTSC color system. You can get NTSC 2 PAL patchers.
you are not using the right setting on your usb advance, and you need to try it with a game that works for sure like GTA SA,
when you load u r USB ADVANCE, press R1 OR L1 to go to game menu and see what games detected on u r usb
what do you mean work all games that are for PS2 on USB with OPL ?
Or Work Games only if its here in this List Compatibility for USB:
Official OPLv0.8 User Guides
Because have more games for PlayStation 2, and maybe dont work All Games, maybe works only those games that are also mentioned in the list game compatibility ?
