soft modded wii not loading some homebrew

ok I have a wii on the latest firmware and its softmodded and it was the mailbox method where I put my mac address into a website and it gives me files for my SD card and I install the exploit via the mail box after I backed up my nand and other stuff
I have homebrew channel installed
but the problem is that my wii won't boot some homebrew, it will load to a certain percentage in homebrew channel and then just stop and crash on the wii

I have VBA and the sega genesis emulators working thats it and nothing else

any help much appreciated

Hello there! =D I say you should try to download these certain apps that are crashing again and see if they work this time around. Some apps may be outdated.

yeah they were not out-date ones they were not working

first reinstall IOS58 and proceed to reinstall the Homebrew channel. if this doesn't fix the problem check the source of you .elf as it may be an old outdated format thats not compatible with the loader. Would you care to list what homebrew is not working?

the only ones working are the sega genesis emulator and gameboy advance emulators and the rest arent working, forgot the names of the homebrew

Guessing he didn't do the advance steps. Betting that the apps that don't work need a cIOS.
