Also paid attention about Attribut in patches ( there are 4 flag) using the 3byth so in fact you can said flag they are flag N19- 21-22-23 but with different use when there are under game patch category ( GD)
So for example, if the SFO is GD and flag N23 is activated = Overwrite 3D warning screen but if it s a different SFO category ( HG as hard game as PSN games for what i tested), flag N23 will be "License Hidden"-----so flag N23 (and others) can have fews possibles effects according to the category/ structure of the game ( eboot or even folder)
So don t paid too much attention about the description on the wiki, it s still in progress.
One X category still on the wild is X2, i suspect there are used inside the eboot of ps1 classic but didn t have the time to check.
X1 is used inside the eboot of minis games.
May be X3 can be found also,
X0 is for PCEngine and X4 for NEOGEO games.
We can generated our owns X category (from X0 to X7) but as you can see on the wiki, somes just don t have names or icons on 3.55 (probably X5 , X6 and X7 are not used at all yet)
If you want to create your own X category: use the generator tool or take it from real NEOGEO game / PCEngine game (after you need to edit the 4byth according to the value, so the 4 byth don t really use binary but little endian value)----or feel free to ask if you go to hunt them.
One tool to test fast (no need to use back up manager) and quick X category is linked at the end of the page (SFO test form Deroad) because if you test X category with a real game, after being installed the game will not boot anymore and you will need to delete it and install again.
In general, if you test with real games, try minis, they are quick to install (but need to boot 2 times to have the new SFO), can have psp export. Ps1 classic games and somes PSN games are not easily to test, because the first SFO installed is duplicated and kept by the ps3 (you need to create pkg update to give to the ps3 a news sfo in that case)
As general advice, edit the first letter or something similar on your title to make sur on the screen it s the edited SFO.
There are also the blue rays disc structure from Sandungas, for example you can install themes or pkg from a fake game (like somes games with bonus content like Dead space 2) but here also there are still progress and 2 or 3 littles things have to be correct.
There are other link at the end (ps3hax) where you can find Sandungas (he s really nice dev) if you got any questions or red more about SFO (but you got less or more enough to start your own quest)
But the flag about VITA can be your trophy and you probably edited more than 10 SFO today...(i m probably easily around 300 or 500 edited SFO and Sandungas can celebrate his 1 000 SFO or more may be ) so you got advantages ( you are fresh on the hunt and got full set: 2 ps3+VITA)
I m going soon to hunt about manual content (part of somes SFO but not on Attribut, more about eboot.pbp) , so from my side i m not going to hunt for X2 or flag N8 (without VITA i can t by the way) or others things on this wiki page.
You can report on the 2 wiki even without registration.
Good hunt

SFO isn t a magic file where you ll get new cfw but it s a pretty nice and funny playground, and a lot of things still can be done ( even on VITA, you can read pkg within hexa and see the SFO because it sn t encrypted, and report here if you found news parameters description: http://www.vitadevwiki.com/index.php...t_(SFO)_(PSF))
It s a quest full of mistakes, errors, big guess, lot of test but it s part of the game. But much better than to just use limited SFO editor without really understand.
Like you already experimented, one of the worst thing will be only black screens (or install the game again because your SFO creature was too much weirdo for PS3) so nothing really bad.
If you heard Little big planet 2 got an update and can be now play with VITA remote play----go to http://store.brewology.com/ or PS3Index - Your PS3 Database and check the SFO, and check Attribut (if your hexa editor can view and edit each bythes as binary it ll be more easy than to count the value: like for the 1 bytes having 00 10 01 01 instead of 25)
What you said about resolution and remote play can be a good test, and even if it s not working at least you know for sure.
There are also probably a new type of SFO for MINIS game but no one hunted it yet.
So it s just a little piece of the big picture how the ps3/vita/ psp deal with games but even you got nothing new , at least you got knowledge what it is or what is not.
Report also (on talk page if you don t know for sure or have questions) to the wiki, it s kind of neutral (no flaming things between peoples or web site) hall of fame for trophy (even if game are not working, it can help to find a pattern or other users just wondering if it s working)
Both of the wiki are not sexy place as twitter, there are no fake fame to gain and but much better it s to prove to yourself you can understand fews things (nothing hurry ). that is even more important to find news things.
I m going soon to the page of eboot.pbp on ps3 wiki, pretty much to add informations to said: this is working like this but not we can t really use it= dead end but that s the spirit of hunt. See you soon on the other side of the best PS3 game (but feel free to ask anything here, but you are now in area answer need to be found )

Thanks for the update for LBP2 I wasn't aware an update had enabled remote play. Will have to try this. Was it the latest update, or will I just need to check . Sfo within .pkg
This is interesting if LBP2 now works then it would be good to compare previous and new .Sfo or and eboot file. May help with finding more information
I will definitely update wiki with what I find. Keep in touch though. I will keep you posted.

I don t know if there are already an update of Little big planet 2, but it suppose to happen (remote play with VITA) because the president of SONY showed it as featurin even before VITA got released.
There are also others things like transfer ps1 games/ minis to VITA, not sur if it s already possible or not. Main reason probably it was not yet done is about security, trying to avoid peoples who got ps vita and ps3 cfw.
Also in the same matter, there a re probably news kind of SFO on recent minis.
