Should i get a vita and at what cost :)

I currently have someone who would like to trade me my 2 modded psps for a vita. I would like some opinions if this the right choice for me.

I dont know much about the vita other than it is a 3g and will come with 4 games.

my psp are a psp go, and a limited edition psp slim, both modded and have accessories.

so is it worth it? I love my psp's even tho I dont play them often, and I was planning on selling the slim anyway.

I dont think that I will use the vita much either, except to play the games its coming with, and then setting it aside untill decent hacks comeout, I just think itd be nice to know its there and waiting when they are made.

your thoughts?

In my opinion it's a good deal. I would do it. The PSP scene is done and the Vita scene is just starting.

yeah, I guess the biggest seller for me, is that I know it would be a long time before I could afford something like a vita, where as psp come and go very easy at this point in there life cycle, so yeah i might give it a shot.

Hell no, there is no way i would trade a full hackable psp for a partially hackable auto updated firmware system that you have no control over, thats pure madness.

Well I decided to go for it. As it turns out it wasnt a 3g model (I dont think anyway) but it did come with all the original packaging, plus its on ofw 1.8 with monster hunter already on it

Sorry bro I dont think it was a good idea to do. I would NEVER trade my hacked psp for a vita reason being the vita doesnt even have that many games yet. But that's my opinion and you are entitled to your decisions

I am in the same boat- may end up trading my modded PSP for a Vita.

Sure, Vita may not have many games yet... but PSP isn't really making any new good ones anymore. The system is dead, and I've played most that are worth playing on it already x_x
