Any one else really dissapointed after E3 over the vita?

i mean really? i was expecting more... the announcement on ps1 classics didn't even excite me anymore because i figured i was pretty much retarded for waiting... well it was nice owning a vita but i think i'm going to sell mine since most are just rehashes and cross platform games. any one else disappointed ?

I didn't catch the full announcement but I haven't been impressed with the vita at all since day 1. It just seems it's off to a very slow start. Hopefully somebody gives it a kick-start before it dies completely

well to all the owners who are keeping their vita.. i hope for them that something happens to. Because sony didn't seem like it was all to interested in showing it off to much. no game play shown except for the All stars battle royale *ssbb clone*. maybe next year!

I love my Vita, but the game selection is very boring. Needs some good exclusive(s) like a FF7 remake or something

Im with BahumatLord on this one. The vita is a pretty bad-ass device dont get me wrong, but the game line-up is TRASH. Most games are ports and pretty much you bought yours at the wrong time. But then again I am not 15 anymore so hand-helds dont really have that much of an effect on me when I was 15. But look into the Nintendo 3DS I heard that's a pretty good hand-held. I used to shit on the DS for being so "Lame" until I actually played some of the games and honestly it's pretty fun. Things like the psp is for "serious hand-held gaming" but the DS have some pretty "laid back games" like Mario Kart and etc..etc.. I have a DS and a PSP so currently, I have no desire to own a new gen hand-held yet. Too many games to play on each system along with my psp (Which I decided not to sell) have the GBA emulator and boy I have been playing that alot lately.

But another reason I didn't buy the vita is because of it's shit internet browser it doesnt even have flash on it. Sony did say something about bringing youtube to the psp but "we all know how TERRIBLE youtube mobile is" (Iphone Reference) I refuse to drop 250 on a hand-held that I cant stream videos on OR they don't even have like a 16gb model of the vita.

I just think the Vita is a fail all together. Hacked PSP and a DS is wayy better than that trash. Only thing the Vita got over all hand-helds is shiny graphics and cool specs but the browser and the high ass memory cards and half-asses ported games, Sony can keep that shit LOL

yeah i got to excited over it Goku1992, i thought this was going to be the new powerful handheld that was going to be able to do everything but nope i was wrong. and the web browser... not only does it not support flash but it is dirt slow and that's all there is to say about it.. maybe in a while more developers will become interested in it but i'm not going to wait for that to happen!

If I were you I would just keep it. You would not get the type of money that you paid for it. It looks bad now but you gotta remember something very important. Look at the psp on launch that was terrible as well. As time progressed games got better like GOW and etc..etc..

Only reason why the vita exists and the psp died is because of the huge piracy with the psp scene. I kinda personally hated that because alot of people take a shit on the psp saying there wasn't no games but they were "mature games" for people above the age of 17 this was a hand-held for teens and not little kids. Psp had a great line up but psp devs stopped working on games because they was scared that people would mostly pirate and they would make no profit.

Which is why I rather have the vita untouched by hackers so "good games" can finally come on the vita and who knows maybe Sony will be smart and lower the outrageous memory card prices. But hey its Sony

I agree with you on that. but i just can't see it not happening with wololo doing the psp mode hacking. i mean the whole vita isn't hacked yet but i'd rather get 250 dollars now *from the 350 that i spent* instead of less money and just keep wasting money on more and more games that do not interest me.

well my advice to you is sell it on ebay if you have some games and the memory card. You will get 300+ for it trust me especially if you still have the box and etc.etc..
