There's a few reports of updating from older versions give problems. I'm still on an older version of MM(1.15.05) myself. I want to update but will wait til this is figured out. I already lost games on HDD in the past when trying out different backup managers. Don't wanna go through that again.![]()

It's most likely due to the fact you're missing the BDEMU2 file.
Just find that, download the pkg, install it, and all should be fine.
There's absolutely no problem, and no wiping issues, updating MM, I've done it several times now and I just updated to pre-BDEMU requirement to the latest version without losing anything.
hey tonybolgna and boobooman just delete the old multiman it wont delete your games that was only on very old versoins of backup managers where the game folder was in the backup managers in multiman its an external folder so it wont take you games with it if you delete it just delete multiman and install the new own 2.00.1 BASE or FULL your choice and u wil be fine
ps sorry for my bad english im dutch![]()

As above, but you'll need to install BDEMU2 to run any backups.
Well, I wasn't asking for any real help. I just stated I had problems updating older versions while testing out other backup managers. I just hadn't made the jump to any newer versions. I stick with the motto of "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Having said that, I'm probably going to update MM here soon.
You still need the BDEMU2 while running Hermes PL4 on 3.41 CFW? I haven't had to deal with the BDEMU with versions of MM that I've used thus far.As above, but you'll need to install BDEMU2 to run any backups.![]()

There is no problem with the updates.
It was said NUMEROUS TIMES that you can't just update from such an old version using the online feature.
Current online update works for versions 01.17.00 - 02.00.01. If you're on an older release, download and install the latest BASE or FULL version.
Yeah that's whats i done, ty for help![]()
