There is a newer version of Showtime (2.99.401) compiled for multiMAN by me today.
SHOWTIME.SELF (3.88MB) (old link removed)
Transfer it to multiMAN's USRDIR/ folder and you're good to go. There was never a need to manually create st_* folders - showtime will create them if missing.

Please always upload the latest version of Showtime.self here. v.v

Latest Showtime Mediacenter by Andreas Öman (andoma) for multiMAN:
* 2.99.540.g9924d.dirty (July 2nd, 2011) (compiled by me)
My changes:
* Changed: EXIT icon returns to multiMAN
* Changed: {PS} button + Quit -> returns to XMB without crashing
* Changed: Showtime uses different font for user interface and fonts from multiMAN's USRDIR/fonts/system/showtime.ttf
* Added: Current video folder (the one you played video from in multiMAN) available when you quit playback of current video
* Added: XMB Video links available when you back off the last folder
You can either delete SHOWTIME.SELF from multiMAN's USRDIR folder and let it re-download the latest version or
download it manually: SHOWTIME.SELF (4.15 MB)

Showtime is an independent package, so I think you would then have to copy its SELF file into the multiMAN folder on your own.
But I honestly don't think that doing so would be a good idea...
If you do that you will not get the changes and additions that Dean implemented on top of the original release before compiling the version he posted above. Since these changes include basic functionality for good cooperative use from multiMAN, you will not be able to use the program as intended unless you download the one posted by Dean.
eg:
The original is apparently unable to return to a program that invoked it, so if you use that one it will probably always exit to XMB, instead of relaunching multiMAN like we want it to do.
Best regards: dlanor
The version I posted is the same as 3.0 (andoma changed the version string in the last moment - I guess just 3-4 minutes after I cloned and compiled showtime).
Obviously if you install standalone Showtime you can't use multiMAN video/audio invoke functions. Things I added are described just few posts above. In general, changes allow showtime see all of your XMB video files (without browsing to the funny /dev_hdd0/video/** folders), it also allows you to go one level up/back and see the files in the same folder as the video you played. Also you can change the default font showtime uses in case your language is not natively supported by ps3 system fonts.
