Rom/Retroarch Column Display Issue in Multiman
Rom/Retroarch Column Display Issue in Multiman –
I installed Retroarch, and moved all my roms to /hdd0/ROMS/ so that Retroarch could find them easily.
When I try to pull them up in the Retro column now, none of the Retroarch games (SNES/Gen/VBA) will display unless I click the PS3 HDD icon, which them lists the games according to emulator instead of alphabetically.
I can't normally see or sort them under the Retro column like I can with the PS1/PS2/PSP games, and like I could with the old emulators installed.
Does anyone have any idea what's causing this, or how I can fix it?
There aren't that many roms--only about 50 or so, for which I own the actual cartridges.
I'm using Dean's Retroarch 0.97 RC2 build, Cobra 3.55 firmware with dongle, just updated mmCM from 04.05.00 to 04.06.00 CEX (although it still says 04.05.00), and have all my roms stored in /hdd0/ROMs/ (they were previously stored in each emulator's folder if that makes a difference).
The rom issue i can't help you on but i can help you with a few other things.
Don't use that version of RetroArch you will have a few issues, on some cores.. not deanks fault was just a bad time for him to compile as squarepusher ws working on somethings and features/cores were broken or not acting properly.

Use the official 0.9.7 release, this was the official release that was out a few days later. which fixed those bugs among other things.

There is really nothing wrong with the RC release of the emulators. Also the roms must be in subfolders, not just all roms in /dev_hdd0/ROMS/. Check the 'options.ini' for more info about the paths.
